FENDT2017 will continue to set up “SCLEAD Best Student Paper Awards”, to encourage students to dedicate in the NDT study and research and publish academic papers of high quality.

Awards Setting

“SCLEAD Best Student Paper Awards” for 2017 will enlarge the number of awarded papers based on that for 2014-2016. The Chinese and English papers will be separately assessed by Paper Selection Committee led by the Academic Committee, and granted with awards below:

In the opening ceremony, the conference committee will announce the awarded papers and authors, then delivery prizes and certificates.

 

“SCLEAD Best Student Awards” will be sponsored by Chengdu Lead Science & Technology Co., Ltd. which refers as SLCEAD. Founded in 2000, SCLEAD is specialized in the research of ultrasound, phased-array ultrasound, photoelectricity and image detection technology applied in the detection for key components of railway. SCLEAD also produces automated inspection and flaw detection systems that has been widely used in wayside inspection, in-service wheelset inspection and dismounted wheelset inspection in the workshop, and has become the technology leader and main provider of inspection systems in railway industry. SCLEAD cooperates closely with Non Destructive Testing Research Center and Photoelectric Engineering Institute of Southwest Jiaotong University, to provide more reliable inspection systems and technology for Chinese high-speed trains, locomotives, rolling stocks and metros.
